What happens in this practice?
...............................................................................................................................................

So, of the people who come to this practice, approximately 10% have genuinely complex gum problems that are difficult to manage and require special care. Approximately 90%, i.e. nearly all, do not have major gum disease.

However, for each one of them, their gums will bleed more easily, and their breath and sense of taste will become unpleasant, if they don’t clean their teeth effectively. This is a natural, healthy response to an unhealthy situation.

And, of course, for some people this situation will have more permanent consequences than for others.

Therefore, as many of us are likely to live well into our eighties and nineties and will want to eat effectively and smile confidently through all that time . . .

If you don’t already know how you respond to plaque
It would be sensible to find out, wouldn’t it?
